Weiss man eigentlich warum?

Steht wohl immer noch schlecht um die Perle. Ich hatte vor mittlerweile Jahren mal Bildstörung per E-mail kontaktiert, die haben mir damals mitgeteilt, dass sie 2012 kurz vor einer Vertragsunterschrift standen, aber es klappte leider doch nicht und danach hat Bildstörung immer wieder Kontakt zu P. Cosmatos gesucht, aber er wollte aus unbekannten Gründen nicht. Bei Koch Media hatte ich auch mal nachgefragt, die hatten mal in Überlegung gezogen den Film der "Mandy" Ultimate Edition als Bonusfilm beizulegen, ist aber leider auch nichts daraus geworden. Laut Koch Media wollte zu jener Zeit P. Cosmatos seinen Film nicht weiterlizenzieren. Wie es aktuell ausschaut ist ungewiss, vermute aber mal, dass sich bezüglich einer Veröffentlichung in Deutschland nicht viel geändert hat. Sonst wäre das Meisterwerk hier zu Lande längst erschienen.

Völlig weird warum er sich da so querstellt! Will der kein Geld mit seinem Film verdienen? Oder bekommt er zu wenig geboten? Oder will er ihn künstlich rar halten aus irgendwelchen exzentrischen Haltungen heraus?

Das versteht wirklich kein Mensch, zumal das ein absolut toller Film ist, der viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätte. Habe mir den damals komplett auf Youtube angeschaut, den gab es in voller Länge aber leider nur in bescheidener Bildqualität auf meinem winzigen Monitor zu sehen. Dafür aber uncut. P. Cosmatos Werk hätte perfekt in das Programm von Bildstörung gepasst.
